At our aid stations you'll find typical ultra trail food including sweet and salty snacks such as potatoes and salt, pretzels, potato chips, cookies candies and nuts peanut butter and jelly sandwiches bean wraps and GU Energy Gels. Hydration will include water, soda and GU Brew.
At some races drop bag service will be available. Refer to specific race description. In order facilitate the transportation of drop bags, size will be limited to a maximum of 10″ x 16″ x 8″. No coolers or ice chest will be transported. No glass is permitted in drop bags and if you leave valuables in your drop bag, it is at your own risk. Drop bags must be clearly marked with participant name and/or bib number and be constructed of durable material. No paper or plastic grocery bags will be accepted. Drop bags will be returned to the finish line as the aid stations close.the contents of any unclaimed drop bags will be discarded or donated to a charitable organization at the discretion of the race director.
A race depends on great volunteers! Without volunteers, there would be no races to run and also would not be ran efficiently. We encourage family members and friends of race participants to volunteer. SPES will compensate each full day of volunteer work for one of our events with one race entry. As race day nears, the monies collected by way of registration fees have already been spent on equipment rentals and purchase, printing, shirts, aid station supplies and finish line food, awards, park fees, event insurance and many other incidental items. Therefore, requests for refunds made within 60 days of race day will be denied. Requests made over 60 days before race day will be honored at 90%.
