30 km runners fill their bottles here and head back the way they came to the start/finish area.

For 50 km runners there is an easy drop back to the river along the Tevis Cup/Western States Trail to historic No Hands Bridge and then a trip up Training Hill affectionately known by locals as K2. This is a one thousand foot climb over only 9/10 of a mile. At the top of K2, runners will work their way over to the Wendell T. Robie trail for a gentle 2-1/2 mile downhill back to No Hands Bridge and then retrace their steps to the Overlook and eventually to the start/finish area at Folsom Lake
